About

Hi! I’m so glad you’re here.

I’m Leah.

My story began over 40 years ago, when I was a very little girl with tangled hair. One day I was thinking hard as I leaned up against against the strawberry blossom print wallpaper under the telephone in my mother’s kitchen.

I was thinking about Jesus.

All on my own, I told Jesus I believe He is real, and that I wanted Him to live in my heart. I met my Savior there that day, leaning against that wall.

I believe Jesus is God’s Son. I believe He came to this earth many years ago, lived a sinless life, and willingly suffered and died an agonizing death on a lonely cross to pay for my sins. My sins, which are many. And for the sins of the whole world.

I believe He rose from the dead three days later, conquering death forever. I believe He was later lifted up to heaven and that He is there now preparing a home for me; a beautiful home for me and for all the other people in the world who are willing to take His gift of forgiveness and new life as their own.

That day, surrounded by a sea of strawberry blossoms, I accepted the free gift He offers to everyone. I was no different from any other tangle-headed little girl, except I believed.

All these years His grace has held me close, and my life has truly turned into a holy adventure. It’s impossible to describe the increasing depths of discovery and joy that come from living by faith and learning to walk with Jesus. He is more beautiful than I ever imagined. The more I seek His face and His truth, the more He consumes me. And the more my heart becomes a secret golden snow globe filled with treasures from heaven.

Following Jesus on this earth is not always easy. It’s been hard. It’s been, at times, excruciatingly painful. But it’s also been infinitely rewarding and breathtakingly beautiful. It is a great privilege to be a servant of Jesus Christ. His strength, power, and love are real.

You will seek Me and find Me when you search for Me with all your heart. Jeremiah 29:13

For everyone who asks receives, and he who seeks finds, and to him who knocks it will be opened. Matthew 7:8

Seek the Lord while He may be found; call upon Him while He is near. Let the wicked forsake his way and the unrighteous man his thoughts; and let him return to the Lord, and He will have compassion on him, and to our God, for He will abundantly pardon. Isaiah 55:6,7
